Technical Design & Notes

This product consists exclusively of the tank cap including sealing ring.
Existing fittings can continue to be used.

The cap is designed to fit standard 28 mm PET bottle threads.

The cap features:

• 1 × M6 threaded bore (through-thread, fully machined)

• 2 × M5 threaded bores (through-threads, fully machined)

The M5 and M6 threads are through-threads, allowing fittings to be installed from either side.
The thread length is designed so that connectors can be screwed in from both directions, providing maximum flexibility in system configuration.

The M6 thread is compatible with our M6 clunk connection.
The M5 threads are suitable for all common hose fittings – both from our own production and third-party manufacturers.

Important Safety Notes

We strongly advise against bonded (glued) solutions, as these are generally not permanently leak-tight or pressure-resistant.

Push-fit hose connectors should not be installed onto rigid tubes.

A permanently leak-tight and mechanically secure tank system is essential for reliable and safe operation.
